Tabata Training is eight 20 second cycles of work coupled with 10 seconds of rest between each 20 second cycle. Some Tabata's will be two exercises superset for four 20 second cycles of each exercise. While other Tabata's may be one exercise performed for eight 20 second cycles. Either way its a great way to ramp up your heart rate working as hard as you can for 20 seconds with 10 seconds rest. This method has been proven to be a great way to burn fat while keeping a lot of variety in your workouts.
